I am a 29-year-old from Martha's Vineyard, MA. I graduated Salem State University in 2014 with a degree in Communications - My concentration is Journalism and my minor is in Photography. During the summers of 2012 and 2013 I was an editorial assistant at the Martha's Vineyard Magazine/Vineyard Gazette in Edgartown, MA.

It was there that I honed in on skills in writing, proofreading, copy editing, and fact-checking. I was also given the opportunity to photograph for some articles. When I graduated college they offered me a job as an administrative coordinator. I have since continued to thrive at the Vineyard Gazette Media Group and am now the calendar editor for the Gazette, editor for the MV Real Estate Yearbook, and associate editor for MV Island Weddings, The Vine, and Martha's Vineyard Magazine.

I truly enjoy writing stories that require me to sit down and have conversations with interesting people. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from any experiences I partake in to utilize later in life.
